Funding only goes so far. This movement also needs trained leaders, a committed and growing base of support, collaboration with other groups, donors who relish rolling up their sleeves, wider awareness — any number of things that make strong groups stronger. At Headwaters, we provide these opportunities to train, connect, learn and lead. Because these are the things that allow our funding to go even further.

Trainings and Convenings

Headwaters hosts specialized sessions and trainings to meet the unique needs of grassroots community groups. These sessions are designed to fit the emerging needs of the community and are developed to enhance the training of visionary leaders, strengthen the infrastructure of organizations and increase the programmatic effectiveness of grassroots groups.
