Jewish Community Action (JCA) brings together Jews from diverse backgrounds in alliance with communities of color, including immigrant communities to take action on racial, social and economic justice issues. Using methods of congregational organizing, including organizing unaffiliated Jews, JCA is building a broader base of Jews to prevent foreclosures, hold banks more accountable and increase wealth creation in communities historically discriminated against. JCA is building power to help MN become the first state to defeat the constitutional amendment on same sex marriage while building sustainable leadership for social change work beyond 2012.
