Headwaters is working to broaden the base of support for LGBTQ equality in our state.
It's as basic as the Golden Rule.
Are you human? Check. A member of our society? Check. So you would think equality based on these criteria would be easier. Well, we’re working on it.
In the fall of 2012, voters struck down a constitutional amendment that would have denied Gay and Lesbian couples the right to marry. Like so many Minnesotans, we believe that every family deserves the full support and protections that society has to offer.
